I saw a picture of a Dragon Blood Tree when I was a kid and said to myself, “I will meet this tree one day.” Something about this tree spoke to me, and I firmly believe everyone should visit trees that speak to you. This tree is only found on Socotra Island. A very hard to get to place off the south coast of Yemen. But if there is a way and the chance of death is relatively low, then I will go there. I camped on the island with the BEST people, and also met many many goats.
